Two organizations are partnering to offer children and young adults access to comprehensive education and behavioral health services in one Coral Springs location.
Members of the local community gathered to celebrate the ribbon cutting of the new Atlantis Academy Coral Springs and Early Autism Project (EAP), Inc. clinic on Thursday.
“Atlantis Academy, in partnership with Early Autism Project, will provide children and young adults throughout our area coordinated, seamless and client-centered services,” said Patricia Giner, Director of Education and Community Outreach.
The ribbon cutting event attended by Coral Springs City Commissioner Lou Cimaglia and included remarks from Mark Claypool, CEO, ChanceLight, Therapy and Education; and Atlantis Academy graduate Jeremy Kaufman.
Kaufman, the technical director and on-air talent for radio station 97.9 WRMF in West Palm Beach said, “Several years ago, I was enrolled in Atlantis Academy’s summer school program and would visit the on-campus television studio. This experience motivated me to enroll at Atlantis Academy full time, where I became a student leader in the television production class. Atlantis Academy opened my eyes to an industry I love and inspired me to pursue a career in media and broadcasting.”
Guests at the ribbon cutting toured Atlantis Academy, which includes 11 classrooms with state-of-the-art technology, a media center, and media/broadcasting classroom. The Early Autism Project Clinic includes a colorful, therapeutic play area with skill building games, books and computers.

Tuition scholarships are available for Atlantis Academy and L.I.F.E. program students through the Gardiner Scholarship and the John M. McKay Scholarship for Students with Disabilities Program.
