Two open houses are scheduled for community members to learn more about Fusion Academy of Michigan (FAM), a new school that gives students in grades nine-12 who have previously dropped out the opportunity to re-enroll and earn a high school diploma. Fusion Academy of Michigan is flexible, convenient, and tuition is free.
FAM combines online learning with face-to-face instruction from caring, highly qualified, certified teachers. Students attend one of three, four-and-one-half-hour sessions daily, Monday through Friday, which allows time for family and work responsibilities.
Staff will be on-site during each event and available to answer questions about Fusion Academy of Michigan and enroll students for the upcoming semester. Open houses are free and open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
The open houses will be held from 11 a.m.- 4 p.m. on Wednesday, November 30 at Fusion Academy East (4691 Conner Ave., Detroit, MI 48215) and on Thursday, December 1 at Fusion Academy West (15250 Grand River Ave., Detroit, MI 48227).
